up at camp for the summer.
write, e-mail, or facebook me...I don't think I'll be checking this.
I was reading this passage and then it hit me,
that this is how I haven't been living.
God, grant me strength, to become more like You!
"[1] If you have any encouragement from being united
with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship
with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,
[2] then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the
same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
[3] Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in
humility consider others better than yourselves.
[4] Each of you should look not only to your own interests,
but also to the interests of others.
[5] Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
[6] Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
[7]but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
[8]And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
[9]Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
[10]that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
[11]and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father."
So today I ran all around school trying to get the final form needed to work at Lake Ann, but I did it! I am working at Lake Ann this summer. I can't even belive it!! I have been dreaming of working there ever since I starting going to camp there - in the 5th grade! ha
OK so I am making a really cool picture frame picture in photography
...I can't wait till its done!
sorry for such a boring entry...!
words can't begin to describe what I am feeling right now...
I was able to visit some potential colleges and universities this week there were things I liked and disliked about all of them, but Moody Bible Institute definitely made it to the top of my list of options - for where I will soon be furthering my education. I was blown away by different experiences I had, as I stayed there for two days and nights. I was encouraged through the worship service, my friend Adrienne, and my youth pastor. The students and staff were amazing...each person I met was super friendly and noticeably in love with their Creator. Set right in downtown Chicago made for a beautiful campus and wonderful shopping! Testimonials - if you will, of the students there following God's call for them to be involved in different kinds of ministries were wonderful. So that takes me to where I am right now...I need to trust in God as I begin to make decisions in where I want to go to school and what I want my adult life to look like.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6
"For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or
her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll
never walk alone."
-- Audrey Hepburn
Life and the weather are beginning to clear up...and today was the first day of spring, thank God! I am working at LAKE ANN this summer for nine weeks, that's a long time - but I am ecstatic.
ps.Spring break is coming up, and I am college visiting
....that means Chi-town!!
ok good night

I am all 98 results right at this very moment, and you ask why?
Why, because of this glorious weather I am taking in right now.
"let a little sunshine in..."
Despite slightly wet, muddy, soft ground I couldn't be any happier!
Nice weather always puts me in a pleasant mood, so go outside!
2 things//
1. I came home sick today...not feeling well at all...not good
2. There has been crazy things going on in my life lately, good and bad. But God has taught me so much, about life and where its taking me so I am content now.
" 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11
*that means God isn't here to hurt
or harm me, but to give me
so much hope for the future.
lately I have been really down...and I don't know why!?
so this week, was THIRSTY'06-the WSM fall retreat, it was extremely refreshing and uplifting! Ken Rudolph was the speaker! -he is such a great speaker! The theme was being thirsty for God, it was awsome. Saturday night there was a symbolic example of puring all you have to God, so if you felt led (which I totally did!) you would go to a cross and pour a water bottle on it! Ken talked about getting to heaven and pouring (or showing) God all of those you've impacted for Christ, and he said or are you going to get there and be empty handed. And that hit me really hard, but it was totally uplifting! And I loved it and I totally needed it...so I'll make it through the school yeah! ha...but all in all God really spoke to me and I couldn't be happier with the outcome, so many teens lives were changed this weekend!- it was so amazing to see God at work!
Besides the speaking, there was alot of fun too! waterpark, crazy people, alot of unhealthy food and late nights! so needless to say I really enjoyed myself, and don't understand why some people don't like "church stuff". Its so much fuN! they are totally missing out! anyway, I need to go get some MUCH NEEDED sleep

So anyway here is the sweet part, today at church I really woke up and smelled the coffee so to speak....our Pastor spoke on contentment, using the passage:
Which was good for me because a lot of times I go through life thinking I can't do something or what not, so it was encouraging. Then in Sunday School, Josh lead really powerful worship which is always helpful before digging into God's Word. And then, since Jerry was at the guy's retreat so Mr. McKenna spoke-he is such a great speaker. He spoke on being salt & light to the world. Which makes me in a way excited for school to start but, still kinda of not at the same time. Ever since NYC I have wanted to talk to people about God but havn't had the chance, so school is the perfect place to start--and since we go back a week from this Tuesay it was a very encouraging message. So yeah really all I wanted to say is, God really spoke to me today!
Now its time for the bitter part, this week is the very last week of summer. Which makes me super sad and its been rainy all week so everything just seems so depressing right now! Then at the end of the week my family is going to church family camp, and there isn't that many teenagers going so I'm scared to see ow its going to turn out!
in other news: tonight is the last "movies that matter" so you should all come..and my mom is coming home tomorrow, so yeah thats about it...
While at camp this summer, I remember Ken Rudolph speaking on passions & dreams. He said something around the lines of, you'll know when your dreams & passions are the ones God wants for you because you'll be completely satisfied. I'm pretty sure I'm starting to figure out my real dreams & passions. Its not about what I want, its what God has for me!
