So anyway here is the sweet part, today at church I really woke up and smelled the coffee so to speak....our Pastor spoke on contentment, using the passage:
Which was good for me because a lot of times I go through life thinking I can't do something or what not, so it was encouraging. Then in Sunday School, Josh lead really powerful worship which is always helpful before digging into God's Word. And then, since Jerry was at the guy's retreat so Mr. McKenna spoke-he is such a great speaker. He spoke on being salt & light to the world. Which makes me in a way excited for school to start but, still kinda of not at the same time. Ever since NYC I have wanted to talk to people about God but havn't had the chance, so school is the perfect place to start--and since we go back a week from this Tuesay it was a very encouraging message. So yeah really all I wanted to say is, God really spoke to me today!
Now its time for the bitter part, this week is the very last week of summer. Which makes me super sad and its been rainy all week so everything just seems so depressing right now! Then at the end of the week my family is going to church family camp, and there isn't that many teenagers going so I'm scared to see ow its going to turn out!
in other news: tonight is the last "movies that matter" so you should all come..and my mom is coming home tomorrow, so yeah thats about it...
